Volunteers are vital. Without volunteers, we could not support the riding program, the horse care, direct care on training sessions such as side walking of both disabled and able body riders, or support special events.
As a volunteer at the Glory Reins Riding School, you get to participate in:
- Basic training sessions to learn horse care safety procedures
- Basic training seminars to learn disability awareness
- Volunteer update training sessions held quarterly
- Riding lessons that are available for volunteers
- Continuing riding lessons to increase experience
- Continuing education on special topics such as general stable management
- Individual informational lessons toward disabilities or able bodied, coordinating supervision lessons for these riders
- Experience teaching to more advanced knowledge in English and Western disciplines
